The Challenge.

West End Impact, a charitable organisation supporting people in need across the West End of Morecambe, approached us with outdated branding and a website that no longer reflected their breadth of services. Established 25 years ago, the charity’s reach and impact had grown far beyond what was first imagined, but their mission remained the same: “Reacting to crisis, rebuilding lives.”

The challenge was to retain this powerful mission while modernising their brand identity and creating a website that was both accessible and inviting. The site also needed to balance two key audiences: individuals in need of support, who must feel safe and encouraged to reach out, and funders, who needed a clear picture of the charity’s scale and impact at a glance.

Our Approach.

We worked closely with West End Impact to develop a refreshed logo, updated brand identity, and a new website. The design brief focused on keeping everything simple, accessible, warm and welcoming, while effectively communicating the scope of services provided.

For the website, we carefully structured the content to reflect the dual needs of their audiences. The layout made it easy for service users to quickly find relevant help while also showcasing the charity’s broader achievements and community value to potential funders. Copywriting was developed with compassion and clarity in mind, ensuring the tone matched the heart of the organisation.

The result was a fresh, professional, and user-friendly website that truly represents West End Impact today — a charity with deep roots, a clear mission, and a wide reach. The new platform not only strengthens their communications with the community and supporters but also provides a flexible system that the team can easily update as their work continues to evolve.
