The Challenge.
The Market Place and I approached us ahead of their launch with a need for clear, impactful marketing that would help introduce their training courses and art exhibition to the world. As a purpose-led organisation, it was vital that their values and message came through in everything we created — from the visual design to the written tone. They needed a suite of materials that would resonate with a broad audience, including community groups, organisations, and event attendees.
Our Approach.
Our work began with a full creative rollout to support their launch. We developed a cohesive set of marketing materials, including social media content, booklets, training course resources, and exhibition assets. Every piece was crafted with accessibility and purpose in mind — ensuring the message landed clearly and inclusively across diverse audiences.
Social media played a key role in building their presence, so we worked closely with the team to design content that felt authentic and community-rooted. We made sure the tone matched their values and that their visual identity stayed consistent across platforms and events.
The Results.
Over the course of our four-year partnership, The Market Place and I have gone from strength to strength. They’ve successfully delivered training in over 100 workplaces, participated in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and hosted numerous events centred around their art exhibition. Our creative support has grown with them, helping to ensure every touchpoint – whether digital or in-person – continues to reflect their mission and connect meaningfully with their audience.
“Amy has been our designer for a few of our research projects now. Helping us with all things creative in terms of designing flyers, postcards, coasters and most recently a training brochure. She is so kind, generous and most crucially (with us) patient - as we kept asking for new changes and she never got annoyed with us. Our project is all about accessibility and Amy has been fantastic in supporting us in thinking through how we make our materials accessible. W have her lined up for future project events in the coming months and years and so fully endorse and support her!”
